About The Rabbi

Rabbi Jordan Gerson is a recent transplant to Pensacola from Los Angeles, where he was recently ordained as rabbi by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, a Conservative rabbinical seminary.

Born in New Jersey, right outside Philadelphia, he grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. His family attended United Hebrew, a Reform Synagogue and there he became Bar Mitzvah and went through their Confirmation program. After high school graduation Rabbi Gerson attended college at Binghamton University in New York. He graduated with a degree in Jewish Studies with a focus in History and a desire to become a rabbi, which is what led him to Los Angeles.
